INTERFACE
Interface explores how digital media has changed the way we read. Surrounded by notifications, captions, chats, and feeds, we consume more words than ever, but are
we really reading?
Developed in response to an ISTD Student Assessment Scheme brief, the project investigates the relationship between reading, attention, and digital distraction. Through a typographic-led editorial publication, it questions how the constant flow
of information across our screens affects the way we engage with text.
Combining experimental typography, contrasting typefaces, interactive elements, and unconventional layouts, the publication encourages readers to slow down, question their habits and reconsider what it means to truly read in a digital world.
